Last night we
slept reasonably well with the family in
Lat Krabang.
We do wake up at the usual time, about half past six.
When we drink coffee outside, we notice that it will be a warm day again.
In the email Tom reads that a curfew will be imposed in Bangkok, and that Phuket will be
completely locked, people are no longer allowed to go to Phuket and people are no longer
allowed to leave the island.
Mae Hong Son is also locked up, and if you go out, you can't go back if you're a foreigner.
And in a few provinces, including Samut Prakan, it is now mandatory to wear face masks.
In Nakhon Phanom, the sale of alcohol is completely prohibited.
It doesn't get any better in Thailand at the moment.
Because there is a curfew, Tom wants to buy a box of beer at lunchtime, Pia has already
bought enough wine yesterday.
Around noon we go to a shopping center, V-Market, a little further along Thanon Charong
Krung, we don't feel like going far.
In the supermarket our temperature is measured, 36.8°, and we believe that, but we do not
understand it very well given the prevailing outside temperature.
We get a green sticker and we are allowed to enter.
There are no boxes of Singha beer, there are boxes with four three-packs, but they are much
more expensive; we therefore buy a box of Chang beer.
The market, which is here every day, is still being built up, so we take a look at the
market across the street.
It is actually too hot to walk for long and we go back home.
The children are still completely crazy about their swimming pool and they show that loud
and clear, otherwise they just sit in front of the television.
In the evening it turns out that Toon is looking for photos from her childhood, yes she is
already 18, and we still have some.
Tom promises to show the photos the next day and put them on a USB stick.
The photos have already been sent to Phranom on CDs, but they have not been shown, it seems,
somewhere else.

We tell what we have done and experienced during a trip and we also tell what we think about it; no more and no less.
This is not a travel guide, nor is it advice to visit a place or not.
There are other sites for that.
Our opinion about places where we have eaten, drunk or slept is not intended as a (positive or negative) assessment,
there are other sites for that.
It is our view of the situation at a certain moment and that view is influenced by our mood,
the weather and many other factors.
